The staff were really friendly and amiable, it was a bonus.

The location was amazing, just off the center of Alghero old town in front of the sea. the room had a balcony. It was fairly quiet.

The room was extremely spacious with the plugs coming out, had essentials required. It had lots of meals for breakfast, including coffee and toast.

The rooms here offer breathtaking views, and the location is perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the nearby cafes.

Staying at Palau Marco Polo was a delightful experience. The location was unbeatable, right on the old bastion with a stunning view of the sea. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves was pure bliss. The room was impeccably clean and I especially loved the unique furniture pieces like the hand-painted white wardrobe and the beautifully renovated wooden secretaire. Francesco, the staff member, was incredibly friendly and provided us with excellent recommendations for our visit. He even accommodated our late check-in due to a delayed flight. Although there were a few minor issues with the room, such as the color and the lack of a mirror in the bathroom, they were overshadowed by the overall positive experience. I can't wait to return to Palau Marco Polo and explore more of Alghero. I highly recommend this hotel for its superb location, cleanliness, and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming accommodation in a prime location. The hosts were friendly and spoke excellent English, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The room had high ceilings, keeping it cool and comfortable, and the double shutters ensured a restful night's sleep. The hot water in the bathroom was plentiful with good pressure, and the traditional building added to the overall atmosphere. The breakfast, although simple, was easy and satisfying. We also enjoyed the stunning sunset view from our room. Our host went above and beyond to lend us an adapter for our phones and recommended a great bike hire place nearby. The location itself was perfect for exploring the coast and the old town on foot, and it was conveniently close to bus stops. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to others.

While the bed was comfortable, it was a bit firm for our liking. The addition of a kettle and cups in the room would have made it perfect.

Great location right by the seafront, perfect for watching the sunset and close to several restaurants and bars. Easy to reach from the airport bus station, only a 15-minute journey. - Spacious shower, great for a refreshing wash after a long day of exploring.

Some noise from the street outside, with people throwing bottles in the container. However, it didn't disturb our sleep too much.
